Pedestrian Struck When Truck Crashes Through Store
A customer was standing in an AM/PM store when a truck lost control and crashed through the walls. The customer was thrown through the air 5-10 feet before hitting her head.
She suffered orthopedic injuries including a left ankle fracture and an ankle-tendon tear, as well as mild traumatic brain injury. Though the truck driver claimed he was not at fault because the brakes gave out on his truck, we secured a $906,000 settlement on her behalf.
